Bob Johnston is founder & CEO of the Executive Council, which curates bespoke events in 35 cities, globally, on behalf of its corporate partners. The Council also develops its own event series, including the long-standing Health & Biotechnology Summit and Fintech Rising Summit. The EC platform brings together a community of enterprise executives, entrepreneurs and investors who come together to collaborate and share ideas around themes of innovation, talent management and growth. In 2016, Executive Council Ventures (ECV) was formed to provide funding and support to promising start-up companies. EC also operates the New York Venture Capital Association, which promotes entrepreneurship and job growth in the greater New York City region.
Most recently, Bob served as co-founder and CEO of SponsorHub, a SaaS marketing platform that measured the effect of sponsorships in social media, TV, dynamic ad insertion, online video, movies and branded content. Bob serves on the advisory boards of Tivity Health (NASDAQ: TVTY), the parent company of Nutrisystem, as well as Negotiatus, Measurence and 1906. He is a Limited Partner in Uncommon Denominator, a New York City-based venture capital fund. Bob also served on the advisory boards of American Express OPEN and the Business Council for the United Nations (BCUN). He was also a three-time judge for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Program and nominated as a finalist for the Harvard Business School Entrepreneur of the Year.
